How the No Signal screensaver works

The saver renders animated analog-style static noise across the full screen.

A bold "NO SIGNAL" message flickers in and out, with a fake resolution readout beneath it.

The static pattern is regenerated every frame for a genuinely noisy, un-repeating look.

No real display input is checked — it is a purely cosmetic effect.

A worked example

Left running, it looks exactly like a monitor that has lost its input source — flickering static and a bold warning, just like the real thing.

No — it is a pure visual animation.
Is it free?
Yes — free, no download, in your browser.
Does it use real static/noise?
Yes, in the sense that the pixel noise is genuinely randomized every frame.
